Las Vegas NBA Summer League Scores And Results: Derrick Williams Struggles In Minnesota Win

In the last game of the Las Vegas Summer League, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzlies gave lots of playing time and shots to their non-roster invitees, with Minnesota winning 97-91.

Derrick Williams had his worst game of the summer, as the former No. 2 overall pick continued to struggle with his transition to the pro game. He scored 7 points on 1-10 shooting.

Wesley Johnson had some nice moments with 14 points on 6-12 shooting, but he didn't have much impact on the game outside of shooting.

Josh Selby, who had already been named as a co-MVP of the Summer League, received a lot of defensive attention from Minnesota. He scored 11 points and handed out 6 assists, but he nearly brought Memphis back with a flurry of tough threes in the final moments.

Tony Wroten, the Grizzlies first-round pick, showed the strengths and weaknesses of his game, getting 17 points and 4 assists but also shooting 8-20 from the floor.

In their final opportunity to impress NBA teams, Deon Thompson had 16 points and Matt Janning had 15 points for Memphis. Former Houston Rocket Mike Harris lead Minnesota in scoring with 22.
