Red Hot Swingin? Blues Tap Happenin?

Pre-show begins at 7 p.m.; curtain at 8 p.m.
The PSI Theatre at the Durham Arts Council, 120 Morris Street, Durham
$30 for adults and $25 for students includes a glass of champagne, desserts, and a silent auction.
This benefit for the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble?part of the ensemble?s 30th anniversary celebration?will focus as much on blues and jazz as on dance.? Music Maker Relief Foundation blues legends Pat ?Mother Blues? Cohen, Ironing Board Sam, and Big Ron Hunter will perform as will the great jazz trio of John Hanks, Jim Crew, and Robbie Link.? The evening will be a mix of the musicians performing on their own and accompanying selected dancers from the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble.? A number of these NCYTE dancers performed last month at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC and will perform in two weeks at the Symphony Space in New York City.? There will be a lot of talent on the stage!
